YUMMY FOOD FOR NEW MOMS
Congrats! You just had a baby! Or… you had a baby a bit ago, or you’re just hungry. This recipe is easy, packed with galactagogues (aka the stuff that gets your milk flowing) and is so tasty! Eat these lactation bars for breakfast, midnight snack, or anytime you need a quick bite.
Mix ½ cup peanut butter,
½ cup strawberry jam,
2 tsp coconut oil in mixer
1 tbsp golden flax seed meal,
1 tbsp brewers yeast,
1 tbsp hemp hearts,
3 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut,
3 tbsp collagen powder
¼ tsp baking soda,
2 cups oatmeal,
Fold in ⅓ cup chopped walnuts, ⅔ cup chocolate chips, 10 figs diced
Put on parchment paper on baking tray and smush it out.
I use another piece of parchment on top and use my hands to press it down to about an inch thick.
Bake 18-20 mins at 350 F or until edges are brown
Break apart and enjoy!
