Polenta Fries Recipe
Dr. Maria’s family is part Italian and they love polenta. In this recipe we turn those remade rolls of polenta that you can find at most grocery stores into fries!
You will get a little messy but don’t be afraid to let your kiddo cut, dip, and roll the pieces.
Preheat oven to 425F and wash your hands
Slice one tube polenta into 1/2 inch rounds, then into 'fries'
Dip fries into flour bowl and shake off any extra
Break an egg and scramble. Dip flour fries into egg.
Next dip in a bowl of panko bread crumbs.
Sprinkle with pepper and bake for 15 mins. Dip in marinara sauce!
