Tips to Remember to Read Labels

Reading labels is a new habit! And reading labels is something you are probably not in the habit of doing (yet). Starting and maintaining a new habit is tough.

Here are some label reading tricks from other parents

  1. Use color dot stickers to signal you or another adult has checked the label
  2. Leave yourself sticky notes in the fridge and in cupboards
  3. Check the label 3 times:  at the store, when you unpack it at home and before you serve it
  4. Keep a journal of safe foods
